GFF/NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power Under-17 League…
After constant postponement for various reasons, matches in the Guyana Football Federation/NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power Under-17 League will resume this weekend with matches at different venues on the East Coast and West Demerara.
In the East Demerara Association, Buxton Youth Developers will take on Golden Grove from 09:00hrs on Saturday and from 11:00h, Bachelors Adventure Paradise Sports Club will match skills with Buxton United.
At the same times on Sunday, Plaisance will come up against Ann’s Grove with the main attraction between BV Triumph United and Victoria Kings at the Melanie ground.
In the West Demerara Association, Slingerz will clash with Beavers from 12:00 hrs on Saturday; Wales United will play FC Eagles on Sunday from the same time then on Monday Den Amstel tackles Beavers from 12:00hrs. All matches will be played at the Den Amstell ground.
In Berbice, Cougars’ Shane Hamilton is the current leading goal scorer for the with nine goals to his name and he is followed by Nial Roberts of Paradise Invaders with five.
Alex Pautaib (Corriverton Links), Troy Munroe (New Amsterdam United), Shafeel Deharte (Paradise Invaders) and Lamar Reid (Cougars) are sharing the third spot with two goals each.
