Action taken by GuySuCo

Dear Editor,
Kindly publish this article highlighting the dictatorial action taken by GuySuCo regarding the requirements for the purpose of submitting overseas junior staff life certificate for their monthly pension payment.
From the inception, all that was required when filling the overseas life certificate was to have it fully notarised by a notary, attesting that the pensioner is living. It must be stamped with the notary stamp as the basic requirement stated on the life certificate.
Please note that GuySuCo is now asking for both the notary seal and stamp on the life certificate before it is accepted as proof for the pension payment. As it is, the notary has only the notary stamp, and that’s all that’s required over in the US. I am a notary as well, and I do have my stamp, which I use all the time.
Editor, this is absurd, this is total harassment, as GuySuCo wants to stop the pension payout. They have already created havoc on the sugar workers, now they are going after the pensioner, who has contributed in monetary terms to the pension scheme.

Sincerely,
Albert Persaud
Overseas pensioner
