Needing 146, the Iman Bacchus Sports Club fumbled and folded in their chase, being restricted to 78-8 when their 20 overs had expired. Their miserable batting performance was headlined by a paltry 13 from batsman Yougeshwar Lall, as Under-19 left arm spinner Keith Simpson grabbed 2-5, Royston Crandon 2-7 while off-spinner Eon Hooper, Keon Sinclair and skipper Shawn Pereira ended with a wicket each.
After taking first strike Rose Hall Town Gizmos & Gadgets first lost National Under-17 player Junior Sinclair who was run out for duck without facing a ball in the first over. His brothers Jason Sinclair (03) and Kevin Sinclair (00) also went cheaply as Rose Hall Town Gizmos & Gadgets slid to 8-3 in the 4th over.
Anderson and pacer Clinton Pestano then repaired the early damage by adding 65 for the 4th wicket in seven overs before Pestano for 30. Crandon, the former West Indies one day player joined Anderson as the pair added 40 runs before the former was removed for 26.
