All set for “Stage”; J’Ouvert on February 22 @ National Park

ANSA McAL’s “STAGE” is set for Thursday, February 21 and Friday, February 22 at the National Park Tarmac, Thomas Lands, Georgetown. On the first night of the event, Trinidad’s Soca Queen, Destra and her band will be the headlining act along with another Trinidadian, Nadia Batson.
Guyana’s own Kwasi “Ace” Edmondson and the Heatwave Band will also be featured on the first night of Stag Stage. It is expected that a lot of Destra’s fans will flock that venue on the first night but ANSA McAL is promising a fascinating two nights of fun and excitement.
However, on the second night, it will take the form of J’Ouvert with lots of water and powder. To set fans in the mood for Mash 2017 will be Farmer Nappy, Jumo “Rubber Waist” Primo and the upcoming musical band Ultimate Rejects.
Patrons are encouraged not to wear any elaborate clothing since it will be a “dirty” affair. On both evenings gates will be opened at 18:00h with showtime set to commence at 20:00h.
Tickets will not be sold but customers can purchase any two ‘Stag Specials’ and win a season ticket. The ‘Stag Special’ may vary at various bars. Patrons are encouraged to get their passes as early as possible and be a part of the biggest fete for the season.
