Home News Alleged $10M wash plant thief to know his fate on Friday
The Kitty businessman who allegedly stole a $10 million Wash Plant (used for crushing rocks into smaller sizes) last March will know his fate on Friday when he appears before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
Thirty-two-year-old Vickram Singh of Lot 42 Station Street, Kitty, who has since March been on trial for the offence, denied committing the act between February 1st and 15th 2018 at King Street, Republic Park, East Bank Demerara.
The plant, which belongs to Maria Feguira, was given to Singh to be transported, but he failed to do so. The mining equipment has reportedly never been seen again. Singh is on $500,000 bail.
