Alleged motorcycle thief remanded

An unemployed teenager who appeared before Magistrate Clive Nurse on Wednesday, charged with the offence of simple larceny, has been remanded to prison for allegedly committing the offence.
Ronaldo Chapman, 17, also called “Pakie”, who hails from 73 Half Mile, Wismar, appeared at the Linden Magistrate’s Court to answer to the charge.
It is alleged that between February 19 and 20, he stole a 110 Jialing motorcycle bearing registration CH219 and valued at 0,000, from its owner Jamain McAlmon, from his Lot 47 (B) Block 22, Wismar home. The teenager pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded to prison.
He will return to court on December 21.
