Eid-ul-Adha is a time when Muslims reflect on and celebrate human selflessness and self-denial in submission to God – a lesson from which we can all learn in the quest to live a life of greater inner peace and humility.
The AFC recognises the invaluable contributions of the Muslim community in all spheres of life in Guyana and their quiet but commendable charity work in helping to uplift people of all faiths.
We take this opportunity to once again appeal for religious tolerance and understanding in our beautiful and blessed land of diverse cultures.
