The Alfro Alphonso and Sons Enterprises in Charity on the Essequibo Coast donated a computer and printer to the Charity Nursery School on Friday last.

Assistant General Manager Ryan Vanslygtman handed over the $150,000 gift to the Head Teacher, Kim De Mattos at a simple ceremony. The official during the handing over said the gift would assist the teachers in the delivery of quality education to the 140 students who attend the school.
Head Teacher De Mattos related that the computer was a much-needed piece of equipment and expressed gratitude to the company for the timely donation. She promised to take good care of the computer system, noting that it would greatly assist them.
Deputy Head Mistress of the school, Vanessa Imamudeen, Parent-Teachers Association (PTA) Secretary Verlene Walcott and others attended the simple presentation ceremony.
