Man of the Match, Shane Shillingford ended the match with one of his two sixes in his knock of 25 not out in the mavth winning 42-run partnership with Ambris.

Earlier, West Indies U-19’s total was built around another good innings from Matthew Patrick. The elegant batsman made 45 while Shian Braithwaite made 42, Shemar Springer 29 and Kristian Kallicharan 24 chipped in for the youth team. All-rounder Kyle Mayers was the principal bowler for the Volcanoes with figures of 4-38 from his quota of 10 overs and was supported beautifully by Shillingford with 10-1-22-3.

It’s the Volcanoes second win and they will need to win their remaining three matches to keep the hopes alive of making it to the semifinals.
