Anna Regina Secondary upset Charity in Essequibo school tourney

Anna Regina Secondary got the better of Charity Secondary by 75 runs this past Saturday when the Secondary Schools Cricket Tourney continued in the Cinderella County.
In the match, played at the Anna Regina Secondary School Ground, the hosts won the toss and elected to bat first, making a decent 137 all out in 21.3 of their 25 allotted overs.
Kamesh Lall led the way with 24, and was supported by Raphael David with 21 and Aarkelly Williams with 11 not out.
Charity’s bowling was led by Ariel Chester, who took 3-19 from 5 overs.
In reply, Charity Secondary was kept to 62 off 10.1 overs, with Ariel Chester top scoring with 13. Bowling for Anna Regina Secondary, Raphael David snared 3-9 off two overs, while Havinesh Persaud grabbed 2-11, and a wicket each came from Raj Rambally and Samuel Narine.
