The unique atmosphere ensures spectators are treated with delicious food, international bar and of course, the best seat in the house since the pavilion is positioned at ahead of the start of start pack where the drivers and riders would make the first dashing turn during the race.

Chairman of the Caribbean Motor Racing Association (CMRA) Ray Rahaman, who is also the brain child behind the VIP pavilion explained that “the experience is something learned from what has been happening from race tracks in Bushy Park [Barbados] where it is like a like to a formula one experience so we decided to bring it here and incorporate it into our races.”

Last year, over 600 person attended the event and were happily treated, the organiser disclosed; however he explained that they are limited tickets available and person can possibly purchase at the pavilion on race day. Tickets cost $20,000 for Adults and $10,000 for Children.

Meanwhile, Rahamam, who himself is a former racer was quizzed on his expectations of the races and stated that “It is going to the biggest we had in a long time, in 22 years, in excess of 80 cars and bikes should be on the track.

He added “That is what we live for, If our riders could beat those world class riders , riders they can attract the attention of the spotters on race day and could be called up to go on the international circuit.”
