launched its 50/50 Stag promotion at the 704 Bar and Lounge.
The promotion which will be running for the remaining days leading up the grand independence celebration will give 50 persons a chance to win $50,000.
Speaking at the launching, Dharshanie Yussuf, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the company explained that in light of the anniversary, they will be giving back to their customers.
Persons purchasing the newly branded Stag beer, bearing the 50th anniversary logo, can submit their crowns for a chance to be a part of the grand draw.
Yussuf said persons are required to submit five Stag crowns at boxes provided countrywide at participating supermarkets and bars.
Meanwhile, Linden Henry, Brand Coordinator of ANSA McAL, said the company has moved on from branding this nature of promotions as a corporate responsibility but rather a norm in rewarding its faithful supporters.
Henry added that since the company is geared at getting on board in pulling off the nation’s 50th Independence celebrations, there was no better way of doing it than giving back to the Guyanese public.
The grand drawings will be held on five separate days in different parts of the country, where 10 persons will be pulled each day to be winners of the $50,000 cash prize.
In addition, the company had also recently launched its Ariel promotion, with focus being on 50 years as an independent nation. With this promotion, the company is putting up for grabs 50 50-inch television sets for lucky participating customers.
Another one of its initiatives in marking the Golden Jubilee, ANSA McAL will be hosting its anniversary concert on May 27 at the National Stadium which is anticipated to be one of the largest.
These promotions and initiatives by the company will add to the already long list of events which have been planned for the anniversary by a number of entities across Guyana.
Since this is expected to be the most grand anniversary celebration in Guyana’s history, more and more companies have been indicating their desire to get on board in helping the Government pull off the extravagant affair.
