APNU’s Nicolette Henry resigns from National Assembly

Former Education Minister and Member of Parliament (APNU/AFC), Dr Nicolette Henry has resigned from the National Assembly.   This newspaper understands that Henry’s resignation is to pave wat for Leader of the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) Aubrey Norton to enter the National Assembly. He is expected to be selected as the new opposition leader, following the resignation of Joseph Harmon as Leader of the Opposition. “This is my final presentation in this honourable house,” Henry said after her presentation during Budget 2022 debates on Wednesday.
