Dear Editor,
With the recent pronouncement by Ireland and Argentina (both strong Catholic nations) that they want a separation of Church and State, as well as the recent sex scandals afflicting the Catholic Church, I believe ‘The Great Apostasy’ is upon us.
It is clear that these events will lead to a Great Falling Away from the Churches (A Great Apostasy) which will create the conditions for a Famine for the Word of God.
What can we do in these situations? We can continue to trust in the Eternal God, whose only begotten Son is Jesus Christ. Those who love Jesus Christ with their hearts will need to resist the temptation to fall away.
The end result of all this is that we will see who love Jesus Christ (hence the Eternal God) with their hearts and who love Him with their heads.
