Singers on the Westside are getting ready to roll and rumble once again as the Aracari Resort, located at 160 Plantation Versailles, West Bank Demerara, presents its biggest Amateur Singers Karaoke Contest.
The resort is flooded with calls as singers from far and wide are feverishly trying to grasp a chunk of over $200,000 to be won in cash and prizes. This event will see fiery clashes among four karaoke champions who all won at the recently held monthly competitions at the resort, and winners from every other karaoke location on the Westside.
To date, Edward Perez – who won three years ago – has entered the line-up, but he will have to watch out for the likes of Ean Nelson, Jah Joe, Rhonda Williams, and Lashaun Charles who won the final segment just two months ago.
The event will begin with an audition at the resort on Tuesday, June 13, at 20:30h. From the auditions, a total of 15 singers will be shortlisted.
However, one contestant will be eliminated on a weekly basis until the final 11 remain and battle at the grand finale for over $200,000 in cash and prizes.
