Home Sports Archery Guyana will be represented at the XXVI Pan American Archery Championships
Archery Guyana has been growing and expanding throughout Guyana with the aim of putting Guyana on the map through the sport of archery, since this is an Olympic sport.
Secretary-General Mrs. Vidushi Persaud-McKinnon just shared some very exciting news with the local media. Two of their members – Wayne DeAbreu and Devin Persaud Permaul – will be participating in the XXVI Pan American and V Para-Pan American Archery Championships, to be held in Santiago, Chile on November 21-27, 2022.
This tournament is a world- ranking event and will be the main qualifier tournament for the SANTIAGO 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games. The tournament will be held at the Bernardo O´Higgins National Military Academy in Las Condes County in their capital city Santiago.
Mrs. Persaud-McKinnon has expressed gratitude to the Honourable Minister of Sport Charles Ramson and the National Sports Commission.
