Archway Snackette/Restaurant Cycle Race set for August 1
Cycling action will take centre stage in the ancient county of Berbice on Monday, August 1, when the Archway Snackette/Restaurant Cycle Race is staged.
The race will pedal off from the Arch in Rose Hall Town, Corentyne and head to New Amsterdam, before racing along the Corentyne Highway towards the Number 51 Police Station, from where it would turn back to head to Rose Hall Town to be concluded before the Arch.
The cyclists would be seeking to transform the Corentyne Highway into their playfield.
Starting time is promptly at 8:00h local time.
This race will feature some of the country’s finest cyclists, and returning National Champion Romello Crawford is expected to command a presence therein.

There are more than $600,000 in cash prizes on offer, with the top senior rider bagging $100,000. The second-place finisher would bag $30,000, while the third-place senior would receive $25,000.
