Dear Editor,
A definition of apartheid is, “My right to rule due to my belief that my race is superior.”
My perception is that less than 10% of my African brothers and sisters want to rule the more than 90% of the remaining Guyanese. It must be that they do not subscribe to democracy, and their mental makeup is similar to that of White South Africans during Apartheid.
The PNC and some have made it no secret that they represent the Africans of this country. The Africans are said to be 29%. I think that at least 9% of Africans voted for other parties, leaving 20% to be reckoned with; and of this 20%, more than 10% are God- fearing, decent and honest people, with integrity;
resulting in less than 10% wanting to rule the remaining 90+% by Apartheid in a David Granger dictatorship.
Yours sincerely,
Mohamed Fazadh
