Local pro Munaf Arjune stormed to the Ganesh Parts and General Store-sponsored Open Golf tourney on Tuesday.
After rain interrupted the event last Sunday, golfers came out in large numbers to chase after the title on Tuesday. Action teed off at the Lusignan Course from 09:00h and Arjune warded off all threats as he ended with 79/69 behind second-place Mike Mangal 76/68.

Third and fourth place went to Kassim Khan and Ian Gouveia, who also had a good outing on the greens, with Net Scores of 79/69 and 84/67 respectively.
Meanwhile, Nearest to the Pin went to Roy Cummings while Parmanand Persaud won Longest Drive, with reigning eight-time Open winner Avinash Persaud copping Best Gross award.
Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) President Aleem Hussain, who spoke to the attendees prior and following the match, lauded them for their support of yet another sponsored Open.
He further expressed gratitude to the sponsors, who are among the latest to join the Club and immediately make a significant impact by sponsoring the second Open of 2018.
