Ranks of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) are searching for two suspects who robbed a cell phone store and gun butted two employees on Friday.
The armed robbery occurred at the Celltronicx store at Mon Repos on the East Coast of Demerara (ECD) at about 14:30h.

According to Police, the two men entered the store pretending to be customers, and as one of the employees was about to assist them, one of the suspects whipped out a handgun, demanding that the staff remain quiet.
CCTV footage that was sent to Guyana Times shows one of the suspects holding a female staff at gunpoint, before escorting her further into the store.
Both she and a male employee were placed on the floor as one of the bandits entered the office. The second suspect was seen opening a bag and placing several cellphones from the glass case and cash in the bag.
The two employees were also gun-butted in the process. This publication was told that the men escaped with over 20 cellular phones, and about $1 million. Police probe into the robbery continues.
