Armed bandits robbed the Ultra Waters business, located at 194A Camp Street Cummingsburg Georgetown, at about 17:30h on Saturday, making good their escape with all of the day’s sales and the salaries of some employees.
The owners are now counting their losses after this incident. 
Guyana Times understands that two men entered the premises posing as customers. One of them then walked straight into the manager’s office, brandishing a firearm and demanding cash and all other valuables. The man then assaulted the manager, and placed him to lie on the floor while he ransacked the manager’s office. In the process, the bandit found and confiscated his booty.
Having completed their mission, the men beat a hasty retreat and entered a waiting tinted vehicle that sped away with them.
Contacted on Sunday, Police officials said no arrests have as yet been made, but surveillance footage of the incident has been taken as Police continue their investigation of the incident.
