Thirty-year-old Raphael Hintzen, a labourer of La Penitence, Georgetown, was granted bail in the sum of 300,000 on an armed robbery charge.

He appeared before Magistrate Rochelle Liverpool at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court on Monday where he pleaded not guilty to the charge.
He is accused of robbing Deodat Dhansam of West Coast Demerara (WCD) on July 17, 2022, at Plaisance Market, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
As such, he was granted bail and is expected to return to court on October 7, 2022.
