As we count down to that big day – the 28th – at the Sports Hall tarmac we continue to feature the DJs competing in the Art of War competition. Today, we take a look at Andrew Billion, aka DJ Platinum.
The 36-year-old hails from North Ruimveldt in Georgetown. Billion, the 2016 Art of War champion, previously played with the Big Life Sound. He currently plays solo.
He has been in the sound business for more than 12 years. DJ Platinum has competed in three clashes and has won two trophies. His preferred musical weapon of choice is 45s.
His focus as a DJ is on the crowd’s response at any event. He received his inspiration in the business from Fire Links and his strongest qualities are his energy and fluency. His most memorable moment as a DJ was when he won Art of War 2016.
