Assuria insurance company makes big contributions to LGC caddies
Already known for its many lines of insurance packages, including life, pension, fire and general insurance, Assuria is also becoming known for having positive impacts in communities.
The caddies at the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) have received uniforms, and a new caddy lounge will be constructed for their convenience, all compliments of Assuria.
In a statement, the LGC has thanked Assuria for “its generous donations to our caddies, and by extension to the Lusignan community, and for its commitment to providing essential services to people of all income levels.

“We hope our caddies will take advantage of some of the insurance offerings, such as Assuria’s Dream Realised Package, in which first-time property owners who have received land or property through the Central Housing and Planning Authority will be given “50% DISCOUNT ON RESIDENTIAL INSURANCE on your 1st year premium.”
LGC Vice President Paton George has said, “With the GTT Guyana Open just one week away, this generous uniform donation will be felt immediately. The LGC management expresses great thanks to Assuria. The uniforms will help in our quest to raise the standards of our tournaments. And with the new caddy lounge soon to be constructed, our caddies will be able to enjoy a more modern, comfortable area to relax while off the course.”

George also relayed that the golf grounds are in great shape ahead of the next four weeks of highly-anticipated tournaments. He disclosed that this week’s final tune up tournament before the big GTT Guyana Open is sponsored by C&V Shipping, and after the two-day GTT Guyana Open and the MACORP Golf Classic, the LGC is looking forward to an action-packed month of play, in which the best golfers would be primed to perform at their best for very coveted prizes, including being crowned Guyana Open champion.
The Lusignan Golf Club notes that this partnership with Assuria is intended to be long-lasting and mutually beneficial. The club’s shared goal is to make golf and insurance accessible to all.
