Insurance company Assuria has announced a new travel-related benefit for members of its Privileged Club, offering complimentary access to the Roraima Airways Executive Lounge at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.
The new benefit took effect on May 12, 2026, and is available to Privileged Club gold cardholders.
On Tuesday, to mark the launch of the initiative, Assuria presented the first Assuria Executive Lounge Pass to Dr Gobind Ganga, Governor of the Bank of Guyana.
Under the programme, eligible members will receive three complimentary lounge visits per policy year, with each visit fully covered by the company. Additional visits will be available at a reduced rate, while members will also be able to bring guests at a discounted fee.
According to Assuria, the initiative is part of efforts to expand the benefits available through its Privileged Club, which rewards customer loyalty with exclusive services and experiences.
Managing Director Yogindra Arjune said the company continues to seek ways to add value for clients through partnerships and customer-focused initiatives.
He noted that the collaboration with Roraima Airways reflects a shared interest in improving the travel experience for customers while supporting local corporate partnerships.
Assuria also announced that beginning in June 2026, two clients will be randomly selected each month to receive an Executive Lounge Pass.
