Auditions for “I’m a Big Deal” Pageant set for Sunday

As preparations get underway for one of the biggest pageants in the Ancient County in November, the executives are making sure the best of the best are represented on stage. The Miss Berbice – “I’m a Big Deal” pageant is expected to be bigger and better with lots of prizes up for grabs.
The reigning queen, Farah Valentina has been representing the Ancient County to the best of her ability and is preparing to hand over her crown come November.
One lucky young lady will walk away with the title and more so, cash and other prizes when she is crowned Miss Berbice, “I’m a Big Deal” queen. However, this cannot be possible if that lucky young lady does not apply.
Making it easier for the young ladies, the committee will be hosting an audition on Sunday, August 26 at Alex Foster Building, Rose Hall, Corentyne, Berbice commencing at 11:00h.
Young ladies between the ages of 16 and 26 who think that they are passionate, eloquent, industrious and ambitious are encouraged to attend the audition.
In addition, they must be unmarried, without children and more importantly, living in Berbice. If you possess that above mentioned criteria, then audition for the pageant.
Once selected, the journey of a lifetime will begin. Once the finalists have been selected, they will undergo rigorous training as they are prepared to compete in several segments on the night of the grand coronation.
The delegates will be judged on costume, talent, swimwear, evening wear and intelligence. For more information on the audition, feel free to contact the organisers on telephone number 698-2500.
