Mainstream auto exhibitions will return to Guyana in a big way as the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club gears up to host its “Platinum Auto Expo” next month.
The lucrative competition will allow for mechanics, technicians, graphic designers and vehicle owners (cars, buses and bikes) to show off their prized and fully decked out vehicles.
Come August 5, vehicles will be judged in various categories such as graphics, face and sound, just to name a few. The competition currently has a total of 27 categories, all of which will have a trophy or cash prize attached for the winners. In the sound department the organisers are contemplating the use of technology over the human ear, so as to make the competition much fairer.
Guyoil, under its Super 95 brand, and ANSA McAL, under its Stag brand, are on board as the major sponsors of the event.
