The Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club, M.S is passionate about the development of Guyana and would continue to work
hard every day to build a modern country. Over the last twenty six years, our record of achievements have been unmatched by any other Club in Guyana and our Cricket Teams are the only one in the Caribbean that work beyond the call of duty to make a positive difference in the lives of youths, the elderly and less fortunate”. Those were the words of the Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster as he handed over a 21 inch Television Set to the Guyana Police Force ‘B’ Division for the Police Outpost based in Rose Hall Town.
Foster stated that the donation was a joint effort of the cricket teams of the RHTYSC and MR. Anil Baljeet, Managing Director of Circuit Center Auto Service of Williamsburg, Rose Hall Town. The RHTYSC over the last month has made several donations to the Guyana Police Force including bicycles, safety lights, sport gears and $100,000.00 worth of anti-crime stickers. The two organisations would also shortly be launching a Berbice Wide Traffic Education programme for drivers and youths. Among the other upcoming joint programmes are honouring outstanding fathers on Father’s Day, a Sports Academy during the summer holidays, construction of a Family Recreational Fun Park for families in Rose Hall Town, distribution of school bags to less fortunate students and sport gears to schools.
