“B” Division Volleyball: Bartica teams ready to dominate

The upcoming Republic Bank/One Guyana “B” Division Volleyball Tournament promises to be an exciting showcase of local talent and competitive spirit. Scheduled to take place on November 1-2 in Georgetown, the tournament will feature some of the best male and female volleyball teams from across the country vying for top honours. The finals are set to be held at the renowned Gymnasium and Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Saturday and Sunday, promising a weekend filled with thrilling matches and outstanding performances.
With trophies and cash prizes totalling approximately 1.9 million dollars up for grabs, the stakes are high for all participating teams. This prestigious event serves as a vital platform for emerging volleyball talents to demonstrate their skills and compete for national recognition. The tournament aims to elevate the sport’s profile and foster greater community engagement, all while celebrating local athleticism and teamwork.
The Bartica Men’s Volleyball Team has already made headlines by being selected to represent their community at the tournament. Their talented line-up, led by captain Inzaman Bacchus and vice-captain Tevon Stoll, reflects a dedicated group committed to bringing glory back to Bartica. Similarly, the Bartica Women’s Volleyball Team is also gearing up to showcase their skills, with a focused squad ready to make an impact and improve on past performances.
