Baby found abandoned in front of Police Station, neglectful mother in custody

A bouncing nine-month-old baby boy who was left abandoned at the entrance of the Baramita Police Station, Region One (Barima-Waini) on Thursday morning is in the care of the staff of the community’s health centre.

In addition, she told the peace officers that she could not recall who it was.
Based on information received, she would have visited the Baramita Health Centre where she saw her child before making her way to the Police Station. She was arrested as the Police launched an investigation.
