Two bandits were nabbed on Tuesday morning in a daring break and enter in which they robbed a family of Mc Doom village, East Bank Demerara (EBD), Police confirmed.

The two men are aged 22 and 27. Reports are the men poisoned the owner’s dogs on Monday night and returned on Tuesday to commit the crime.
However, their plan was foiled after they were caught red-handed by residents in the Mc Doom home.
Police were alerted and the men were handed over to law enforcement. When contacted, acting Region Four (A) Police Commander Phillip Azore, told Guyana Times that “the men removed the window panes from the one-storey building. They made their way in and they removed some valuable items such as watches, gold chain, along with some other stuff. Ranks were called in and they were caught red-handed in the yard”.
