The perpetrators were also keen on cutting all cameras in order to guarantee a clear escape.

The owner of the house, identified only as “Roy”, was at work in Georgetown at the time of the robbery.

His wife was also not at home.

After neighbours realised what was taking place, an alarm was raised and the owner was notified of the incident.

Roy rushed home to find his house broken into and completely ransacked.

From all indications, the bandits removed the grille and forced the wooden door open with a sharp object.

Speaking to Guyana Times, Roy explained that it was a devastating experience because he worked really hard to earn back those valuables, after his house was raided a few years ago.

The Police were notified of the matter and an investigation has been launched.
