Two men carted off with over $2 million in electronics from the Hybrid Electronic Store located at Lot 10 Crown Dam Industry, East Coast Demerara (ECD), during a brazen robbery on Sunday.
Guyana Times understands that the robbery occurred at about 02:30h. According to information received, the men gained entry by breaking the side door of the building.
The proprietor of the establishment – Ecliff Bradford – explained that the men made off with a quantity of high-end cellphones, tablets, laptops, television sets, and a slew of other high-priced electronics from the store.
He enlightened that after visiting the store, he noticed that the alarm system, along with the door, was broken.
He immediately made a report at the Turkeyen Police Station, and an investigation has been launched.
Only last month, two masked men had robbed the NTech Computers and Electronics store, located on Robb Street Lacytown, Georgetown, of millions of dollars in electronics. (G1)
