Bandits rob Corentyne family

Five armed bandits escaped after robbing a Rose Hall Town, Corentyne family of jewelry and cellular phones on Saturday evening.
Police have since said that four of the men were armed with knives and one with a gun.
One of the victims, Arthur Fraser told investigators that about 20:40h he heard the dogs barking and called a 64-year-old farmer, who lives at the same address.
As they got into the yard and were looking around, they saw five men entering the house.
Anita Fraser revealed that the bandits escaped with a quantity of jewelry belonging to her.
They also took three cellular phones from the house and made good their escape on foot.
Investigations are continuing.
