Home News Banks DIH introduces “Wave” to market
Guyana’s beverage giant Banks DIH Ltd on Friday evening launched its newest product “Wave” Pale Ale at the Gravity Lounge, Regent and Camp Streets, Georgetown.
The launching party was attended by special invitees and business associates who were all given samples of the new beverage.
Speaking with Guyana Times, Sales and Marketing Executive of the beverage company, Carlton Joao highlighted that the new product signalled a new genre of beverages in Guyana.
“Wave” is a pale ale brewed from special malt called pale malt, which guarantees white foam and a dark brown colour. Joao added that there would be a lot of sampling of the new product along the way since he was aware that Guyanese take a long time to adjust to new beverages.
The pale ale is the first to be produced in Guyana by any beverage company. “Wave” pale ale will be available at all major supermarkets and retail centres at a cost of $5000 per case of 24 bottles.
