Banks DIH rewards employees’ children for outstanding performances at NGSA

Banks DIH Limited on Saturday rewarded 25 of its employees’ and shareholders’ children who were successful at this year’s National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA).

The children were awarded bursaries towards their future endeavours during the presentation ceremony which was held at the company’s Sports Club, Thirst Park, Georgetown.
Delivering remarks at the event, Communications Manager of Banks DIH, Troy Peters, congratulated the students for their accomplishment. He also urged them to continue to strive for excellence.
While echoing the same sentiments as Peters, Co-managing Director of Banks DIH, George McDonald also encouraged the children to remain enthusiastic in their academic pursuits.
Moreover, the company’s brew master, Matthew Kendall, took the opportunity to remind this year’s awardees that the bursary awards ceremony is the company’s commitment to its social responsibility.
Among the awardees were Nia Pemberton, Sadelle Britton, Jorrel Payne, Latavia Darrell, Ziquan Grant, Kymani Jabbar, Ramual Dindyal, Duke Gittens, Daria Clement, Duel Booker, Brianna Hendricks, Shania Duguid, Akeelah Niles, Alliya Stewart and Naomi Smith; all of whom are children of individuals employed with Banks DIH.
Adding to that were a number of students who are the children of stakeholders, comprising of Quacy Isaacs, Kazaquah Uzzi, Juan Ferrieira, Angelina Dhoray, Nicholas Parmesar, Saeed Osman, Brandon McKoy, Rashilo Cornelius, Brianna Dey and Kunal Challu.
These students are all off to pursue their secondary education at the respective schools awarded based on their performance at the NGSA.
