
A 30-year-old barber from Pomona Housing Scheme, Essequibo Coast, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam), was remanded to prison after appearing before Magistrate Ravindra Mohabir at the Charity Magistrate’s Court on a charge of using a computer system to incite persons to commit a terrorist act.
Albert Ramnauth is alleged to have made the comment “Bomb the Police Headquarters Next” on Facebook on November 7, 2025. The act is said to have been committed against public justice.
When the charge was read, Ramnauth was not required to plead. He was subsequently remanded to prison. The case was adjourned to November 27.
