Bartica woman found with cocaine, ganja

Police in F Division (Interior locations) have arrested a female resident of Bartica, Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni) following the discovery of a quantity of marijuana and cocaine.
The illegal substances were unearthed at about 17:00h on Friday during a search at the First Avenue, Bartica residence.
According to reports, acting on information received, a party of Police Officers went to the home of the 52-year-old woman and conducted a search, during which they found 25.1 grams of cocaine and 16.1 grams of cannabis.
The suspect was taken into custody and is being processed for court on Monday.
