Home Sports Bartica’s oldest football club bounces back with new structure
Wolves United Football Club is Bartica’s oldest, dating back to the ’70s. Today, in spite of many challenges, the club is still alive, restructured and promising to lift itself among the town’s top clubs once again.
On Sunday, the club met and held its Annual General Meeting, resulting in a new Executive Committee being identified to lead the club for the coming term.
The following are the new office bearers:
President: Nigel Forde
Vice President: Alwin Martinborough
Secretary: Jacqueline Kaiser-Thomas
Treasurer: Randy Lewis
Committee Members: Mark Richards, Moonaff Ali, Tyrone Lovell
The new President thanked the members for keeping the club going and promised to work for the upliftment of the club. The club also identified its coaches, and set training days and the date for its next meeting.
Seven out of Bartica’s eight clubs have completed the process of holding their respective AGMs.
