BCB Calls up 20 players

‒ ahead of CGI Local Franchise 3-day tourney

The President of the Berbice Cricket Board, Mr. D Somwaru in conjunction with Mr. Leslie Solomon, Chairman of Selectors has called up 20 players ahead of Training sessions in preparation for the upcoming CGI Local Franchise three-day tournament scheduled for September 2.
The session for the Upper Corentyne Zone will be conducted at the Port Mourant Community Center on Thursday August 31 at 13:00 hrs.
The following players were called up: David Latchaya, Joshua Ramsammy, Andy Mohan, Parmeshwar Chatterpaul, Demetri Cameron, Junior Blair, Nickolas Seenarine, Omesh Mathura, Viendra Gooniah, Balchand Baldeo, Samuel Kishnasammy, Yudendra Harinarine, Eon Hooper, Loydell Lewis, Joel Seitaram, Kandasammy Surujnarine, Christopher Jaundoo, Rajiv Ivan, Keon Sinclair and Veramootoo Senwasane.
Alternatively, the following players were told to report to the Young Warriors Ground in Cumberland for 15:00 hrs on Thursday for sessions for the Lower Corentyne/New Amsterdam Canje zone: Jonathon Foo, Suresh Dhanai, Kasim Khan, Sharaz Ramcharran, Seon Hetmyer, Linden Austin, Jason Sinclair, Troy Matheson, Wahid Edwards, Royston Crandon, Nial Smith, Devon Clements, Hakeem Hinds, Gajanand Singh, Eugene Lafleur, Omar Weatherspooin, Steve Deonarine, Kelvin Omrao, Ritesh Omrao and Anthony D’Anrade
The competition kicks off on September 2, 2017 with Upper Corentyne taking on West Berbice at Bushlot while Lower Corentyne will host Essequibo at the Young Warriors Ground in Cumberland.
