BCB cricket fixtures continue

Matches organised by the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) will continue this weekend with some crucial fixtures.
Owing to inclement weather matches that were scheduled to be played over the week have now been moved to this weekend.
Matches will continue with the highly-anticipated Brian Ramphal Double Wicket Final at the Albion Community Centre Ground between the hours of 18:00h and 20:00h, as Tucber Park are set to take on Rose Hall Town Gizmos and Gadgets (RHTGG). Nial Smith and Mark Barker will face off against the in-form pair of Clinton Pestano and Kevin Sinclair.
While the winner of match one will advance to the next round to face off against Albion A at 19:00h as Jonathan Foo and Kevin Umroa will be awaiting the results. The winning pair would take home $75,000, the runners-up $40,000 and third place $20,000.
In the BCB/ DaSilva Motor Spares Under-13 cricket tournament semi-final match-up, Rose Hall Town (RHT) Poonai defeated Blairmont on first innings points at the D’Edwards Ground while Port Mourant Cricket Club (PMCC) defeated Rose Hall Canje by nine wickets. Following the semi-final results, RHT and PMCC will be duking it out in the final. The match is scheduled to commence at 09:30h at Area H Ground.
The Pepsi 50-Overs tournament will be hosted at Albion Community Centre Ground as RHTGG hope to see off Young Warriors in a day-night match scheduled to last two days starting Sunday, December 2. The winners will pocket $100,000 while the runners-up will receive $50,000.
The Ivan Madray 100 balls First-Division tournament will kick off with Albion taking on Police at Albion. This encounter is set to commence at 10:00h while RHTGG will battle West Berbice also at Albion at 13:30h.
In the third match-up, Port Mourant will be set to take on Young Warriors at the Port Mourant Ground. This match is scheduled to begin at 10:00h while in the final match of the day
Tucber Park will attempt to overthrow Blairmont at Port Mourant Ground at 13:30h.
Meanwhile in other scheduled matches, the third round of the Under-15 tournament and the Upper Corentyne New Building Society (NBS) tournament are all set to continue.
