BCB Under-17 tournament fixtures released, but rain threatens ancient county

The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) recently announced the Under-17 tournament fixtures with matches set to bowl off this weekend. There are six zones in the country-wide tournament.

Zone A will feature West Berbice teams. the teams are Cotton Tree, Bush Lot United, Paradise.
Round One, Sunday March 27; Cotton Tree vs Paradise at Cotton Tree. Bush Lot- bye. On Saturday April 2, Cotton Tree vs Bush Lot United at Bush Lot. On Sunday April 3, Bush Lot United vs Paradise at Paradise.
Zone B will also feature teams from West Berbice. The teams are Achievers A, Achievers B, and Bath.
Round One, which is set for Sunday March 27, would feature Achievers A vs Achievers B at Hopetown.
On Saturday April 2, Achievers A vs Bath at Hopetown. On Sunday April 3, Achievers B will battle Bath at Bath.
Zone C features teams from the West Bank of Berbice. The teams are East Bank Blazers, Guymine, and No 19. Round One, on Sunday March 27, will see East Bank Blazers vs Guymine at East Bank Blazers venue, and on Saturday April 2, East Bank Blazers will lock horns with No 19 at No 19. On Sunday April 3, No. 19 will battle Guymine at No.19.
Zone D teams are Edinburgh, Tucber Park and RH Canje. Round One, which is set for Sunday March 27, will see Edinburgh do battle against Tucber Park at Rose Hall Canje, and on Saturday April 2, Rose Hall Canje will take on No.19 at Rose Hall Canje.
On Sunday April 3, Rose Hall Canje and Tucber Park will battle at Canje.
Zone E teams are Rose Hall Town A, Albion A, Albion B, and Radha Krishna Foundation.
In round One, Sunday March 27, Rose Hall Town Bakewell A will battle Albion A at Area H ground. Meanwhile, Radha Krishna will battle Albion B at Radha Krishna ground.
On Saturday April 2, Rose Hall Town Bakewell A will battle Albion B at Jai Hind ground, and Radha Krishna and Albion A will meet at Albion. Sunday April 3 will see Rose Hall Town Bakewell A vs Rama Krishna at Radha Krishna.
Albion A will meet Albion B at Albion on April 3.
Zone F teams are Rose Hall Town B, Skeldon, Line Path, and Port Mourant. Round One will see Rose Hall Town B vs Port Mourant at Area H, at a date yet to be confirmed.
Skeldon and Line Path will lock horns at Skeldon.
In round two, Rose Hall Town B will meet Line Path at Area H. Skeldon and Port Mourant will then battle at Port Mourant.
In round three, Rose Hall Town B will play Line Path at Line Path, and Port Mourant and Skeldon will play at Port Mourant.
The Quarter Finals are set for Saturday April 9, and the winner of A vs runner-up of E will play at a venue in Zone A.
The winner of F vs runner-up of D at Zone F venue, and the winner of D vs winner of B at Zone D venue. The Semi-Finals are set for Sunday April 10, with the winner of 2 vs winner of 4 and the winner of 1 will play the winner of 3.
