Berbicians are in for a treat this Saturday when BKVJ presents “Beauty and the Beats” which will not only feature live performances but more so, several delegates who will be vying for the title of Miss West Berbice. The event will be held at Number 6 Village Family Fun Park, Berbice, commencing at 19:30h. 
The 10 delegates from across Berbice are preparing to put up a grand exhibition of talent and creativity for those in attendance. The delegates will compete in several segments including evening gown, talent and intelligence.
After the crowning of the queen, patrons are expected to be treated to an epic after-party and show, featuring some of the best in the music industry including Guyana’s own, Terry Gajraj. The line-up includes Bunty Singh, Vicadi, Dr Sugrim, Krish, Vishnu, AW Lyrical, Amir Khan, BKVJ Crossover Band, Cecelia Samaroo and Nishal B.
Also expected to perform are members of the Shelta Dance Group. The emcee for the event will be Leanna Bachan. Tickets for the show cost $1000 and will be available at the gate.
Music will be provided by Feroze High Power.
