Street, Georgetown has been relaunched, now boasting modernised facilities to improve the experience of shoppers. Joint Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) Jonathan Beepat and Christopher Beepat explained that with the extension of the store and installation of air conditioning, the facility now offers a more convenient shopping for customers. Jonathan Beepat explained that aisles have been set up in the store, which caters for everyday food-related brands. “Beepats has been in business for over 60-plus years and we represent some of the major brands for Guyana. We distribute across the country, we handle marketing for Nestlé, Ozon, Orchaird, Suppligen, Maggi’s, Brunswick Tuna, and number of other products,” he noted.  Beepats is one of the leading distributors in the country, with a distribution network which stretches across Guyana, from the smallest corner shops in the country areas to modern, large-scale supermarkets in other areas. The business was founded by Madho Beepat, who started his one-man operation in the La Penitence Market in November 1953. As his business outgrew that location, he moved to rented premises at 95 Regent Street, Georgetown which he later purchased.
