Today the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) will be hosting the inaugural Beginners’ Golf Tournament at its course aback of Lusignan, East Coast Demerara.
It is the first time such a tournament will be hosted and the initiative is the brainchild of MACORP Golf champion, Parmanand ‘Max’ Persaud, and was accelerated by golfer Patanjalee ‘Pur’ Persaud.
Seven business agencies will send four employees each to compete for top finishes, Best Net, a Best Gross, Longest Drive, and a Nearest to The Pin prize.
