The lifeless body of pensioner, Ursilla Badrat was discovered in her Bell West Canal #2, West Bank Demerara home early this morning by a carpenter who was contracted to execute renovation works at the women’s residence.
According to reports, the discovery was made sometime around 07:30hrs. The woman had reportedly been stabbed to the neck by a long, sharp object, which has been left at the scene. Her body was found in a sitting position on a chair in the lower flat of the home.
