Garfield Benjamin and Zeynul Ramsammy showcased mature batsmanship at the Edinburgh Ground in Berbice, as Benjamin stroked 100 while Ramsammy was left unbeaten on 99.
The match concluded in an anti-climactic manner with rain washing out the latter part of the game. Tucber Park notched up 336-5 in 35 overs and Edinburgh was left stranded on 5-1 after the heavens opened.

stroked his fourth century in the space of a few months.
Playing against the Edinburgh Cricket Club on January 3, 2019, the experienced Tucber Park team took first strike under cloudy conditions. Benjamin was partnered by Ramsammy, the Guyana Under-15 Captain, and the duo dominated an ordinary Edinburgh bowling unit.
Middle-order batsman Benjamin, who was in top form in 2018, started the 2019 season on a high, striking the ball with exquisite timing.
Meanwhile, Ramsammy was very selective in the 101-run partnership with his captain. Abdul Ramsammy supported with 38 not out to polish off a brilliant batting performance.
After the Tucber Park batsmen dominated the first round on Wednesday, the following day saw the bowlers dominating under excellent conditions for cricket. In their second match of the BCB/New York Business Group Under-19 tournament, Mount Sinai were the opponent.

dismantled by the Tucber Park team when they were bundled out for an embarrassing 27 in 12.4 overs.
The batsmen never got going as Guyana Under-17 fast bowling all-rounder Leon Swammy wreaked havoc, grabbing 4-10. His Guyana Under-17 team-mate, Gevon Schultz supported with 3-8 while Reuben Latcha snatched 2-2 in four balls with his tempting left-arm spin. In reply, Tucber Park completed a comprehensive nine-wicket win ending on 28-1 in 6.2 overs.
Rose and Winslow Roberts saw their team to victory ending on 12 and 9 respectively.
Tucber Park will continue their 2019 Under-19 season on January 5, 2019 against Kendall’s Union at the Number 19 Ground.
