The ganja that was found during the operation

It was reported that the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) on Wednesday swooped down on a house at Rose Hall Town, Corentyne Berbice and unearthed a quantity of ganja worth $1,160,000. CANU agents had received information that led to a ‘narcotics’ exercise being conducted at St Paul’s Street in Rose Hall Town, during which a salt bag containing several parcels of ganja was discovered.
The narcotic was taken to CANU Headquarters, where it was weighed and amounted to 3.868kg, which has a street value of $1,160,400.
