Big names to turn out for Guyana All-Stars

The Guyana All-Stars have named a strong squad who will challenge the Trinbago Titans, in the Cheddi Jagan Centenary Cup T20 match set for the Albion Sports Complex Ground under lights on March 31.
The All-Stars will feature players like; Leon Johnson, Chris Barnwell, Jonathan Foo, Anthony Bramble, Raymon Reifer and other notable local/international cricketers.
The Guyana T20 team last did battle in 2017 of October when they participated in the Antigua & Barbuda Cricket Association‘s invitational tourney; where they played well despite not emerging winners.

Last week the Titans released their team with Trinidadians Rayad Emrit and Lendl Simmons, middle wicket-keeper/batsman Nicholas Pooran, seasoned T20 pacer Kevon Cooper, spinner Imran Khan and others set to be apart.
The match which is organized by the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) is set to honor the late President of Republic of Guyana, Dr. Cheddi Jagan. Gates at Albion will be open from 16:00hs with the first ball set to bowl off from 18:00hs. Admission to the Ground is $1500. (Clifton Ross)
