Hours after 25-year-old Anthony Yearwood, also called “Odinga”, was shot dead at Drysdale Street, Charlestown, the Police have issued a wanted bulletin for his murderer.
Wanted: Lenroy Michael Forde, also called “Biggie”
Police stated that Lenroy Michael Forde, also called “Biggie”, is being sought for the heinous crime.
Yearwood was killed on Wednesday evening during a confrontation with the now wanted man. It was reported that the incident emanated from a dispute between the two men over an alleged robbery committed by “Biggie” on a victim who was known to Yearwood.
Residents around the area had reported that they heard gunshots, and sometime after, an ambulance was heard rushing to the scene. Yearwood reportedly died on the spot, but was later confirmed dead when he was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
His body is at the hospital mortuary awaiting a post-mortem.
Meanwhile, anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Forde is asked to contact the Police on telephone numbers 227-2603, 226-6978, 911 or at the nearest Police Station.
